Melissa Wilkinson was appointed Human Resources Director in 2021.

Before lending her leadership mettle to Pele Energy Group, Melissa served as a Human Resources (HR) leader in market-leading multinationals spanning various sectors including IT, Infrastructure and Energy. Melissa a forerunner in the field of HR, has over sixteen years of experience and leads with the vision to collaborate with business to create a culture of transformational and servant leadership, that is strategically aligned to organisational culture with a focus on the promotion of an engaged workforce.

Melissa’ current responsibilities include overseeing of Strategic HR, Talent Management, HR Risk and Governance, Learning and Development, Performance and Reward, Employee Wellness and Employee Relations at Pele Energy Group. Melissa also serves as director for CPV1 Talent Board and as Director for the Trust Companies responsible for Graspan, Sannespos and Grootspruit.

Melissa supports everything people related at Pele Energy Group and is a great advocate for being mindful of the legacy one leaves behind citing she believes that by positively impacting a person’s life through helping them unlock their God given abilities; that is when one creates true legacy in the hearts and minds of those lives that you impacted.

Melissa holds a Bachelor’s Degree Cum laude, in Human Resources Management from the Rand Afrikaans University and is proudly affiliated with SABBPP and the prestigious Golden Key Society.
