Eddie was appointed Head of Energy Operations in 2022.

A highly skilled and qualified Engineering Business Unit and Projects Manager Eddie has a long-standing specialisation in EPC Medium & High Voltage Projects, leveraging his extensive business and technical proficiency built across an impressive 35+ year career. Eddie began his career as an Electrical Engineering Trainee, Test Technician and Senior Commissioning Technician with South African national utilities provider – Eskom, subsequently fulfilling several tenures as a Commissioning, Contracts & Projects Engineer on behalf of private sector enterprises. He later joined Consolidated Power Projects as a Projects Manager & Projects Engineer. Remaining with this role-player in the broader African construction sector his career trajectory grew over a period of twenty-five years with positions including but not limited to; International Division Projects Manager and Engineering Manager – Energy Solutions.

Eddie joined Pele Green Energy in 2022 in the position Head of Energy Operations and heads a business unit comprising three divisions namely Engineering Technical Services, Project & Construction Management, and Asset Management of the Pele Energy Group portfolio of operational plants.

Eddie is responsible for driving all technical service processes, engineering studies & designs, plant performance analysis and supporting all divisions within Pele Energy Group. These include Group support for IT/OT services, Implementation of Construction Management Agreements, resourcing and staffing for full project construction implementation, asset management of operational power plants including forecasting and risk mitigations, plant monitoring and data analysis of technical performance, production improvement planning and strategies for O&M operations.

Eddie played a key role in the establishing of remote SCADA applications at Pele Energy Group for the CPV1 power plant, and the implementing of detailed data analysis software solutions. Eddie is also a passionate supporter of succession planning and the Pele Energy Group leadership training initiatives.

Eddie holds a National Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current) as well as a Project Management Diploma. Eddie is also a member of the Pele Energy Group Exco board.
